Ed. in History) and Penn State University (M.A. in American Studies), Feliciano has received multiple honors, including the Bunton-Waller Graduate Scholar Award. He is an alumnus of national leadership programs and previously served as board chair of the nonprofit Intempo. He has also volunteered as a member of the Foundation’s Grants Committee for the past three years.

The Foundation also announces that Michael Carrier, Esq. has concluded his service on the Board of Directors, as he completes his third 3-year term on the board.

Carrier, a Partner at Weber Carrier Chace LLP in New Britain, has been a long-time leader both within the Foundation and across the community. The Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Attorney Carrier for his dedicated service and lasting contributions.

Finally, in recognition of more than three decades of service, the Board of Directors will formally honor Peter N. Perugini by naming him Emeritus Member of the American Saving Foundation Grants Committee.

Perugini has been a foundational figure in the history of the American Savings Foundation. A longtime executive at American Savings Bank where he served as Senior Vice President of Lending and later Executive Vice President, he played a key role in advancing the bank’s commitment to community reinvestment.

As a founding member of the Foundation’s Grants Committee in 1995, Perugini has helped guide the distribution of more than 4,000 grants totaling over $63 million to support nonprofit organizations throughout the region. His work reflects a deep and enduring commitment to improving the quality of life in the communities served by the Foundation. Beyond the Foundation, Perugini previously served on the board of Pathways Sendero’s Center in New Britain, helping to promote safe and enriching environments for young people.
