“Thank you”
By the nature of our work, we hear that often. More often than we should, perhaps…, as the staff, board, and committees of American Savings Foundation are simply carrying forward a mission set forth by our founders 25 years ago.
Now, as we near the end of our 25th Anniversary Year, we would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude -
- To the communities we serve, for all the ways you have come together to support one another, especially in times of need.
- To all the nonprofit organizations we support, for being there to provide essential services through these difficult months. We know that as you meet these critical needs, you also provide encouragement, joy, and hope!
- And to our Robert T. Kenney Scholars, for inspiring us every day with your drive and dedication to your studies, to your families, and to the community.
Over the past 25 years, we truly have been inspired each and every day by the people and organizations that make our community strong. Throughout our anniversary year, we have had the opportunity to tell some of these stories through our Stories of Impact. On our website you will find even more information about the nonprofit organizations we support and learn about some of our past Robert T. Kenney Scholars.
As we look to the next 25 years, we see 2022 as a year of recommitment and renewal. During the upcoming year, our board will undertake a strategic planning process. We will look back at the impact we have made, and look forward to ensure that our strategies remain robust and aligned with the needs of the community
For 2022, there is no change to our Grants and Scholarships applications and review schedules. And while we will continue to grow and evolve to respond to changing needs in the community, we will always stay true to our mission – strengthening the community by supporting education, human services, and the arts, with a special emphasis on the needs of children, youth and families.
That is our Lasting Commitment.
