This program is designed to help ASF Scholars gain meaningful professional work experience, while giving local nonprofit agencies the extra assistance of a talented college student for the summer.

The hiring agency will be responsible for all screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates, and will have control over all hiring, training, payroll, and supervisory responsibilities regarding the intern. Decisions about internships will not have any impact on any renewal scholarship application award decisions.
