New Community Grants Program

We are pleased to announce a new grant opportunity at the American Savings Foundation. Responding to feedback from grantseekers, the Foundation’s new Community Grants program is designed to better respond to a wide range of local needs throughout the 64 towns traditionally served by the American Savings Foundation.
Requests for Community Grants, which will range from $250 to $5,000, may be submitted using a new online application. In 2019, there will be two deadlines for review.
- Applications received by February 1, 2019 will be reviewed in March.
- Applications received by October 25, 2019 will be reviewed in December.
In keeping with our mission, requests for Community Grants should be for programs and organizations that strengthen the community through education, human services, and the arts, with a special emphasis on the needs of children, youth and families.
