Foundation Profile

The Foundation was established by the American Savings Bank in 1995 to give back to the communities it served for over 140 years.  In 2003, the American Savings Foundation became a fully independent private foundation. The Foundation is committed to remaining headquartered in New Britain, keeping the American Savings Foundation name, and continuing to invest in the people and organizations that make our communities strong.
