Osgood Resource Center

Located at 460 Osgood Ave, the Osgood Resource Center is a food pantry and meeting place that provides goods and services to help local families on the road to self-sufficiency. The Center also provides access to a range of services such as flu shots, tax preparation, and energy assistance.

The pantry's manager, Michelle Torres, organizes events throughout the year, including an Easter egg hunt, barbequed food in the summer, and a visit from Santa bringing milk, cookies, and presents. Thanksgiving is a major event for the Center every year. Clients are encouraged to sign up for turkeys in advance.

Donations come to the Osgood Center from throughout the community. Local schools and churches make regular donations. Big Y and Target also make donations. The Center is home to a dedicated group of community volunteers who help stock and organize the pantry and assist clients with food selection and carrying their groceries.
