Join us at our first professional get together of past American Savings Foundation Robert T. Kenney scholars! The event includes an hour of networking and light appetizers followed by a panel discussion, Next Generation of Nonprofit Involvement... Where do I begin? Find out more about our panelist below!

   

The panel will be moderated by past scholar and current Foundation Board Member, Caitlyn Prescott. In 2012, Caitlin became one of the first past scholars to join the Foundation's scholarship selection committee and in 2017 was the first past scholar to become a member of our board. Jeremy Race- RTK Scholar 1997

Jeremy was named the President & CEO of Junior Achievement (JA) in July of 2016. He was named one of Hartford Business Journal's 40 under 40 in 2009, and received the New Haven Chamber of Commerce's Millennial Move Maker award in 2016. Jeremy also serves on the board the Connecticut Jump$tart Coalition and as the Career Development Chair for Fairfield University's Hartford alumni chapter. 

Brittney Cavaliere - RTK Scholar 2006

Brittney serves as the vice-chair of the board of directors for the East Hartford Alumni Association and Education Foundation. She also works at the Connecticut Health Foundation as a program officer. Brittney has a unique perspective of serving on the board of a new non-profit and also managing board relations in her day to day job. 

Bo Brown - RTK Scholar 2008

Bo is a successful sales consultant for a national payroll services company. He is an active member of the New Britain Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the board of directors of OIC of New Britain. Bo was introduced to OIC during his time as a Robert T. Kenney Scholar, when he held a summer internship at the agency. 

 

Please note that this event is only open to recipients of the American Savings Foundation Robert T. Kenney Scholarship who have completed their 2 or 4 year degree.
