You must mail this cover page with all required attachments in addition to filling out the online application.
All attachments must be received by the Foundation at 185 Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051,
by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010

RENEWAL APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

  1. The online renewal application must be completed and submitted by midnight on 6/30/09
  2. Signed Application Certification (below)
  3. ALL PAGES of your Student Aid Report (SAR) showing a valid EFC and family financial data.
  4. A copy of your financial aid award letter for 2010-2011
  5. A list of any scholarships of $500 or more that you expect to receive in 2010-2011 that that do not appear on your award letter.  
  6. A complete list of any outstanding student loans in your name, with documentation of any that
    do not appear on your SAR.
  7. College transcript(s) including spring semester 2010 grades (unofficial transcripts will be accepted). If you will not receive spring grades until July, send in the rest of the application prior to the deadline and forward the grades to us as soon as you receive them.
  8. One letter of recommendation from a professor, academic advisor, student group advisor, or other individual at your college who can tell us about your academic and/or community service accomplishments. Please ask the reviewer to refer to you by your college student ID number only.
 Please submit the above materials in one envelope once you have everything together.

Falsification of information may result in termination of any scholarship granted. This application and attached materials become the property of American Savings Foundation.
