Instructions for submitting required attachments.

Required attachments may be submitted electronically via the online application. Or, you can mail all the attachments to the Foundation.

All items submitted by mail must include a copy of the Attachments Submission Form and include your online application number.

  • All required attachments must be either received electronically by midnight, March 31, 2018 or postmarked on or before March 31, 2018 in order to be accepted.

Student Aid Report (SAR) - this is the report that you receive after you complete your 2018-2019 FAFSA online at

  • Note: you will need to refer to information on your SAR to complete the financial section of the online application.

Two (2) Letters of Recommendation - from teachers, guidance counselors, or others who know your academic and/or community service work well. The recommendations should refer to you by your application ID number, not by name.

  • It is your responsibility to leave plenty of time for the person you are asking to provide a recommendation!


Current high school seniors
  • Some area high schools can provide transcripts electronically. When you get to the attachments section of the online application, you will be given instructions on how to request the transcript from your school. You may also mail us a copy of your transcript along with the Attachments Submission Form.

Current college freshmen
  • Submit a copy of BOTH your fall 2017 grades and your high school transcript. Unofficial copies will be accepted.

Current college sophomores and above
  • Submit a copy of your current transcript. Unofficial copies will be accepted.

Applicants with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals status only
