Tough Times, Tough Decisions - This workshop provides an overview of the issues most seriously affecting nonprofits during the current economic crisis and highlights potential legal issues and proactive strategies for addressing them. Are there ways to reduce costs without significantly impacting your mission? Can employment arrangements or existing contracts be changed? What about collaborations or mergers - do they offer solutions? What do you need to consider as you decide to persevere or possibly close the doors? The panel of speakers from the Pro Bono Partnership - attorneys with expertise in corporate workouts, employment law and real estate law - will cover these issues and others. Their goal is to help you assess your organization's viability and give you the tools you need as you weigh your organization's options for the future in these challenging times.
